I personally heard the name Floral-Torchon. But I know a lot of womderful designs in Torchon with flowers in. So perhaps to differ from the geometric designs this name is used from some people.
To add new threads which go out otherwords you could have with Torchon also in corners, for example if you have what we call Rohrstuhlgrund in it.
