I do; I was cheap enough to buy it, for 1.10 GBP, in '88. Took me about 15 minutes to realize that I wouldn't learn much from it and, next day, I was back in the bookstore buying Jennifer Fisher's "Torchon for Today", which became the basis of my lacemaking adventure and the first step to an obsession.
"Basic Techniques" is 6.5"x6.5" booklet (hardly a book!), 32 pages, of which 9 are full-page photos, two others are taken for frontspiece and backpiece general info and the rest are generously peppered with *big* drawings of tools and a few diagrams. "Comprehensive"? It should have been a companion booklet to the "Kit from You Know Where"...
