Laminating lace sounds like a very interesting idea. I have done laminating at work, and have found that if you are experiencing bubbles after laminating, you need to turn the object around in the paper laminating sleeve and put it through again. Some things I have put through the laminating machine 3 times before I have been satisfied. The trick is the 180 degree rotation. This might be what is needed for doing it with lace also. I think I would still prefer the regular sleeves, however, so I could take the lace out and touch it. I have hand sewn my bookmarks to organdy ribbon quite successfully, although I think the appreciative recipients have been afraid to use them this way. Eileen C., in hot and sunny Washington State
