Hi All,
Have done a little net surfing and found information about size, colour and approx substitution for Mako thread on Lori's "lacefairy" site.
Will get to do more lace one of these days - the "season" at the moment is machine knitting. I am preparing to knit a jumper for a little Canadian baby who is due to make his/her appearance, and will put koalas on it.
One of the lace patterns high on my "to do" list is a koala from Lace Express.
Went to the Airport this morning as part of my involvement with an Exchange Student Program, and met 7 Belgians - have yet to meet one who knows anything about making lace! This morning one girl at least knew what I was talking about.
