Jean, there is a wonderful Binche pattern called The Riverside, designed by Grace Jones, that shows kingfishers and irises. Unfortunately, it is out of print, but I recently bought this design on eBay (an original, not a photocopy).
It's going to be a long time before I'm ready to tackle a design of this complexity, but I can dream, can't I?
