(good topic for Hallowe-en) Hi everyone: > there are at least 4 people that we never hear of, who took a stab at > lacemaking and gave up
Although I wouldn't recommend The Kit to anyone, particularly, let's give people who do crafts the benefit of the doubt - not everyone who tries this kit thinking they will learn bobbin lace will necessarily be turned off. If they have any curiosity at all about the craft they will turn to their library for books, or the internet for links, and take it from there. For that matter, there will be someone, somewhere, who quite liked working lace with The Kit. This is a marketplace issue - if people think The Kit is so bad, develop and market a better kit, quell the horror with competition ;) bye for now Bev in Sooke, BC (west coast of Canada) where I once made up and sold 'beginner kits' and gave up because it wasn't cost-effective www.woodhavenbobbins.com - To unsubscribe send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] containing the line: unsubscribe lace [EMAIL PROTECTED] For help, write to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
