Barbara is right when she says that you should place the pins wherever you
think they should go, but that is not as hard as it looks! Because there are
some guidelines to help you!

-- To decide where to put a pin, hold, after making the edge stitch, the 2nd
pair along the pattern line.
--The 1st pair is kept perpendicular to the 2nd pair. The place to set the
pin is under the edge stitch, on the line.

Works perfect, on straight as well as on curved lines!
