>the sort of photo album that has sticky pages and cellophane sheets or is
I have two small, thick 'photo albums' wherein I put small lace and related 'bits' - medallions, samples, postcards, and even photos... Each page is a clear acetate envelope with paper in it (no adhesive). Sometimes I slip a piece of fabric in to show off the lace/hide the mistakes. The albums are easy to pack around, can be stood on end, opened at a 'page' for display; and when at a (lace) gathering (my non-lace cohorts get to see it too), are a conversation piece, more discreet to hold and flip through than a full-size album. The pages are open at both ends though, so some of them I tape shut. Inexpensive (the 'grandma's brag book' type) but suit the purpose, until I decide something more permanent for the small piece of lace. A friend of mine pins her lace 'bits' to a spare piece of styrofoam which she can prop somewhere to admire. bye for now Bev in now-it's-winter, now-it's-not Sooke BC (on southern Vancouver Island, west coast of Canada) - To unsubscribe send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] containing the line: unsubscribe lace [EMAIL PROTECTED] For help, write to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
