Thank you Jeri, for pronouncing the Summer 2005 Bulletin a collector's item.
I agree. There is no catalogue of the Cone Collection exhibit and if the
curator, herself, does not write an article about it, as we hope she will, it
may be the most permanent memorial to the exhibit. Knowing there would be no
catalogue, I suggested we print extra copies, but that is not possible due to
the terms under which we publish. (Perhaps we will all get rich selling our
copies on ebay some day.)
Debra Jenny is to be congratulated on her editorship. I had to laugh when
Jean said that she wasn't sure if the editor was also the person in charge of
sending out the Bulletin. It would seem reasonable to think that there might be
a staff of more than one producing such a publication, but the IOLI Bulletin
is pretty much a one-woman production with Debra doing everything. It is
certainly a monumental job.
Thanks are also due to the Baltimore Museum of Art for their generosity with
the photography and helpfulness during the production of the article. It is
a splendid exhibit and a great museum!
