On a hot August evening at our local State Fair several years ago, I had my first lace lesson at the end of a long, tiring day. A wonderful teacher named Rhonna Robertson taught me the basics for several hours, at the end of which I was convinced I had learned nothing and therefore was on the verge of tears. However, the next morning at daybreak I woke up up and took my pillow outside to my patio. It was a beautiful morning. Every cross and twist was in my subconscious and I hardly realized when two hours went by and I had several inches of lace complete. Not perfect lace, but I loved that morning of lacemaking alone before work.
Early mornings outside are still a favorite time and place for my lacemaking. Definitely try it! Anne Garrison Boise, ID USA - To unsubscribe send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] containing the line: unsubscribe lace [EMAIL PROTECTED] For help, write to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
