Jane, thank you for putting the details of the radio talk about Irish lace, it was so good and I have taped it for a friend of mine who is very interested in needl laces of all types, I personally only make Carrickmacross (which I love) I do hope many of you listened, and like me, thanked my lucky stars that lace is a hobby that I love and not to have to work the dreadful long hours that the Irish women had to work to keep their families fed after the potato famine.
