Hi All! I was wondering if I could ask for some help. While at the IOLI convention, during the Teachers Exhibition, I was looking at all the different types of lace. The main thought that was going on in my mind was "How are these laces related?" I can tell the basic differences, like whether a lace was a tape lace or a point ground, but I was wondering things like which lace came first, is Princess lace a cross between Tambour and Tape? Which lace is the oldest? What is the path of lace spreading across Europe? Can anyone recommend a book(s) for me to start studying? Many Thanks! JoAnne Pruitt
