Gretchen Allgeier taught knotted needlelace and oya construction at the Hasbrouck Heights IOLI convention. She was even able to teach it left- handed (that may not matter to you, but it sure did matter to me!). She used to own the shop Beggar's Lace in Colorado, so maybe the current owner knows how to contact her.
