How about using the lace list itself? Those who normally subscribe to the digested version but would like to participate in the lace relay could subscribe to the reflected just for this occasion? and those who don't want a flood of e-mails could unsub from reflected and subscribe to the digest, and read about the relay later...
Too much trouble, especially for someone as e-challenged as I am. I tend to ask for Avital's help, if I need to unsubscribe/resubscribe when I go away for more than 4-5 days; it would be unfair to her to ask for the same services within 24hrs, especially if the request came from many other -- equally 'puter-challenged users. And I'm too generally-challenged to figure it out but, if we do it on a Saturday, she may be "out of comission" for 'puter help :)
And, anyway... I think, unless we have _hundreds_ of participants, we can't, possibly, ask the non-participating majority to go through the rigamarole of subscribing/unsubscribing in order to accomodate the 100 or fewer who are interested...
I agree with Ruth; switching the relay via Arachne is not the best idea -- Tamara P Duvall http://t-n-lace.net/ Lexington, Virginia, USA (Formerly of Warsaw, Poland) - To unsubscribe send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] containing the line: unsubscribe lace [EMAIL PROTECTED] For help, write to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
