When you open the account, you should be on a page with a form where you fill out email addy, choose a password and give some other particulars. Do all of that, then you can access the pages. It seems that once we are logged in in this way, we stay logged in unless we select 'logout' at the upper right (even if you exit the site, the open it again). I'm going to stay 'in' as I like it telling me 'welcome bev' at the top of the page :)
