Hallo Bev and all spiders,
I would not have any use for the blouse (far too small) but I am very
interested in your "work in progress" old Bucks Point piece, looking forward
to the unveiling of the reworked pattern.
Happy lacing

Subject: [lace] lacey top looking for a home

Hi everyone
I am wondering if someone on Arachne would like this item, to wear, to
collect, whatever. I will send it postage paid in exchange for
what-have-you. It is small (fitted bust, approx. 28 inches), a
sleeveless pale pink lacey top, in the machine lace known as 'Alençon'
with 3 glass heart-shaped mirror buttons down the front and a single
snap fastening at the waist. It was given to me by the daughter of the
original owner who wore it with much success, so I'm told, some
decades ago now. There are a couple of lightly stained areas, and
signs of wear. The mirror backing on the buttons is showing age.
Otherwise it is in good condition.I have no use for a tiny dainty
lacey blouse. I'd like to see it go to a good home and will entertain
expressions of interest by private e-mail. Check out the picture at
my blog here:

There is a white spot in the photo which seems to be a reflection. The
fabric is intact.

(and please note the vast increase by 1 centimetre to my looong lace!)
Any takers, drop me an e-mail
