Not a lot at the moment, as it is exam time for my students. Hectic to say the least for students and teachers alike! I am going to a craft and collector's fair in Bridlington on the Bank Hol weekend. First time I am actively trying to sell something, but have extended my range beyond lace bobbins. I do want to set up a simple piece for demonstration purposes. I have also been busy making necklces to sell, and my friend is doing a load of cards for me. Next month I am going on a course with Christine Springett, whilst my husband does the turning course with her husband. We are making a long weekend of it, staying at a local farmhouse B&B. This is probably all the holidays we are going to get this year, as we had to fork out a lot for a replacement car when it was written off and other items that needed replacing as they were beyond repair. As regards Jane's question on what did we get for our silver wedding anniversary, which was two years ago. Well, we were not intended to celebrate much, but my Dutch family thought different, and came all 19 strong (including my 85 year old mother) on the ferry to England. so we decided to have a party after all, and in total had about 70 people around. Got some local caterers in, who were brilliant and reasonably priced. Our son and a friend volunteered to be bar tenders for the day. We asked people for a "donation" to our second honeymoon fund and hubby's 60th too (which was at the same time). We did get some useless presents, gracefully accepted and now stored in the "forget" cupboard, but most quite freely gave us money and we had a lovely holiday in Romenia for 12 days.
Well, must get back to work.
