Yes, it does. You're supposed to mail it in to the address on the form. (Seeing as how the government is refunding the tax, you'll probably have to wait a while to get it :-D) Note that only the federal GST is refunded, not the provincial sales tax - known as TPS in Quebec. When you get your restaurant bill in Montreal and see TPS, it's easy to misread it as tips and think that a service charge has been added. It hasn't - that's the provincial sales tax. About the only good thing about these taxes is that combined, they amount to 15%. And since that's the usual tip, it makes it easy to calculate what you should leave for good service.
