All right, a report. Favours came at various times
There were the lace supply type: pretty pillow tidies, bobbin rolls, spangles;
the lace present type: note cards, fabric tissue holders adorned with
lace [for which I have a close attachment, having helped make some of
them and at this time may I acknowledge Irene W. who coordinated so
ably the tissue holders contribution?), patterns (prickings), little
pots decorated with tatting and beads containing local goodies - in
this case, hazelnuts grown in the area;
the clever-idea present type: a bookmark 'worm' of crocheted yarn, a
pen wrapped in florist's tape topped with a silk rose, a tiny
hand-decorated card that had a felt page for needles (there is a name
for that, in sewing terms, and I don't recall it - needle book?
-case?);
the utilitarian: a small ziplock bag containing a variety of
notion-type Things, an M&Ms tube (unopened - eat the contents for the
choccie fix and use the container for storing crochet hooks etc), a
giant ziplock bag - a wonderful surprise - folded neatly into our
registration folders...for filling on vendor day, or for covering our
pillows should it rain and we had to dash with our lace stuff from A
to B;
the dazzling: a chic purse containing cosmetic samples, donated by a
company that someone thought to ask, in nicely done up boxes, one for
each of us on banquet night.

Most of the favours were made by hand, and identified the donor(s),
and all were tastefully presented ;).

Quite possibly I'm forgetting something so do chime in, someone, on
what I missed. That's the report on the favours :)

(the raffle and door prizes.were fun too)
