I am about to start winding some 200 pairs of bobbins for my next project -
for UK "7" competition.
I just received the thread - a Finca lace thread - white - SO white it
almost has a blue-ish tinge to it. I am just hoping it will be the same
colour when the project is finished!!!!!!!!! :)
I have some filet lace on the go, some filet patterns that I am trying to
draw the pathways for (I am Not very good at that!!)
I am mentally designing a piece for IOLI next year, and I have some Gros
point NL on the go, and am about to have a go at some Irish needlelace.
In my "spare time"(Ha Ha!!!!!!! ) I am designing some needlelace Oz Native
flowers to work in colours.
Oh! Yes - I have just got a bit of Bucks Point going on my travel pillow, to
take on holidays in a couple of weeks!!
I won't mention the doily that has sat, half finished, on my large pillow
for the last 4 years!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
