So I guess my lament is "I NEED MORE TIME!" How can I go back to knitting, crochet, weaving, spinning, sewing - (notice that this is all thread related? Never noticed that before) and still have time before I die to do even a fraction of what I want to achieve.
I have made the *terrible* mistake of enrolling in a knitting course *and* trying to learn a little bit of lace this year. Not only is the knitting course rather demanding - even though it's a beginners course, we started on a sweater right away (*gasp*) - I also have two left hands. ;-) Deep down I feel that I'm not a natural crafts person. I would very much love to do more lace making, but alas there's only so many hours in a day. Especially with a 10 month old baby, it's not easy to concentrate on lace and knitting. I realize I should practice more, but alas my heart cries for the knitting needles more than the bobbins. ;-) How many hours does one have to practice per day anyway? I'm curious. That said, I love to give my FO (finished objects) away. Especially to my baby. :-) Maybe I should try to make some bobbin lace for one of her dresses?
