Yes, Jean, that is the calendar I mean. It is so beautiful and I enjoy
it so much every year. Because of the sudden death of my 44 year old
daughter, the severe surgery on my husband, and my own surgery with 2
weeks hospitalization all within four months, that is why I said I
hadn't been watching the list as closely as I should have and was afraid
I had missed the announcement.
Believe me, I do not expect it or assume it will happen, because I do
suspect how much work it is. But in the same light, I do not want to
miss such an opportunity because I haven't been paying attention. I
apologize if I sounded "assuming" to you. It was not meant that way,
and certainly was not stated that way. My words were: "In past years,
there has been a beautiful calendar with some lace patterns posted for
the month of December. I haven't been able to follow Arachne as closely
as I would like and perhaps have missed it."
Again, sorry I asked. I'll go back and hide behind my computer, now.

If you mean the annual Advent calendar that Jean and David Leader kindly
put
on the UK Lace Guild web site each Christmas, it's usually in place
ready
for the beginning of Advent on 1st December. It involves a lot of work
for
both of them, and we all very much appreciate the amount of time they
put
into it, but we shouldn't assume there'll be one every year.
