I recognized quite I few names of items being displayed (Tamara, Janice Bair, Debra Jenny, Kathy Kauffmann).
Whaaaaat??? I never sent anything there; there *couldn't have been* anything of mine. Unless Debra snuck in something (the way Penny Boston snuck in my worm-like, very early, "peace dove" into the Tina book a couple of years ago)... You now have me *curious*, as to what tracks I'm making, all unbeknownst, in the museum-world :) Will I get to brag as having been exhibited?
I know that Susan Lambiris -- a wire-lacemaker extraordinaire, who's a quiet member of Arachne (doesn't post much) -- has sent some of her pieces and that they've been accepted. And Janice Blair said a piece of her would be there. I assumed some work of Kathy's would be there and I remember Debra mentioning she'd sent something. But I'm gob-smacked to hear I was there too; if I'd known, I wouldn't have been so quick to forward the announcement of the exibition to the list :)
Yours, in Lexington, VA, where we've finally had a taste of winter; rime's been falling down all day, leaving small patches of white here and there, killing off all the forsythia which had lost its count of seasons and started blooming, and bowing down the tree branches... A power outage can't be far behind :)
