f she really does draw each thread, line by line, I think it would be faster to make the lace! I wonder why she does it?
I took a Lace Design course once, and we were supposed to draw out our designs in white gel pen on black paper, because that gives you more of an idea of how the lace will look than drawing in black on white paper. It does work.
However, this woman's an artist and not a lace designer and I think she's just fastidious.
