The public library system here has an on-line database of clubs and
organizations in the Halifax Regional Municipality. You might suggest

Also, the Nova Scotia Centre for Craft and Design maintains a list of
all fibre artists and fibre-art-related organizations. There may be
something similar in your province/state/etc.
