I covered a pillow with a red plush fabric, started a project, and then it sat for quite a while. When I went back to it, the pattern had started to turn red.
In my early days of lacemaking, I had 4 red bone bobbins which bled into the white thread I was using, so I had some pink strands in the lace. I stopped buying bone bobbins after that :) So it's not just fabric you have to be careful in using
