For the last year or so I have more of a lurker than a participant in the
topics on the list, but I just had to reply to the Sudeley Castle thread.
In 2004 I visited Sudeley Castle -- the lace that was on display was
absolutely wonderful, I just wish that they had been able to provide more
information about the lace. Since they did not have any reference materials
about the lace available, I tried taking notes about what I saw -- but I am
still having trouble reading what I wrote (maybe someday it will all be
re-written so it can be read.
The gardens on the grounds of the castle were in full bloom when I was there
in early May, and I have some wonderful pictures of the trip. The tour of the
castle was very informative also.
Anyone who has the chance to go, please do so, it is worth the trip.
