Hi Jeri et al,

This made me smile! I have long had 'good intentions' like this (who was it said that the road to Hell is paved with good intentions?) and bought the pretty, plain, pink-ish dress I found that would exactly fit the collar I wanted to make. I chose threads to match the colours in the dress, and off I went! But - I loved the dress, so much that it was too well-worn when I'd finished the collar, to attach the collar to it!

Perhaps I am definitely well on the road to Hell ...

Subject: [lace] Planning Finished Lace Presentations in Advance

Dear Lacemakers,

Thought I'd share some designing wisdom from my Hungarian friend, Ilona.

Preparation is her mantra! When Ilona has an idea, she begins at the end
in her mind. What will be her presentation? How can she achieve that?
For example, If she is thinking of using a 1 1/2" round pendant, she shops to
see if such a pendant is available -- first.
