I doubt you'll find a supplier with DMC Cordonnet 70 still in stock as
it was discontinued years ago.
I've just had a look through my stash - I don't have any DMC Cordonnet
70, but I do have two balls of white Coats mercer crochet 70 which is
very similar, 2S/3Z - 28 wraps/cm. They are quite old and a bit
grubby on the outside, but if can't find any of the DMC you are welcome
to have them.

There are three pieces of lace to reproduce. Two are complete. The
thread
used was DMC Cordonnet Special 70 in white. This project has been
going on
so long Betty no longer knows where the original ball came from, which
is a
problem as it is clear she does not have enough to complete the third
piece
of lace. Enquiries so far have turned up lots of size 60, but only
ecru in
70. So can anyone please tell me which UK suppliers carry this thread?
