10 threads books with the packaging usually weighs 2.040 Kg and costs
GBP21.06 to send by airmail as printed papers, about USD423
I now look at worldwide items, but no longer buy from the US or Canada
as I recently bought four thinnish lace/sewing books, which didn't
weigh much from Canada, for a total of USD43.88 and the airmail
postage was USD48.99. So it looks like the UK Royal Mail isn't the
only postal service which is making international purchases too
expensive.
