"You were ripped off no matter how she want to sugar coat it."

I know that, you know that, and I guess she knows it too. I told her that
most of us learn by mistakes, and what she should have learnt from losing out
on
two international shippings was to check her costs before she quotes. What
she seems to have learnt is to just quote a silly figure that she can't
possibly lose by, which is not the right solution.

I wasn't in a position to query it before it arrived as she may have packed
them flat in a box of some sort which would have been much bigger and heavier.
Instead they were rolled /folded with one sheet of tissue paper and a small
plastic envelope, not even as heavy as a jiffy bag. I have no quibble with the
standard of packing, as those envelopes are very strong and waterproof, but I
don't think they can be very expensive. So I would guess that she made the
best part of $8 or $9 profit on the shipping.

But at least the lace was worth buying; it was hard to tell as it was so
creased and crumpled you couldn't see the design and the photo wasn't brilliant
either. If the lace had been rubbish as well, I would have been a lot more
upset by her attitude.
