Daphne, Carol, It was with deep regret that I read the news that Sally Woollard has died, I spent many a happy hour with other lacemakers learning so many different types of lace at her lacedays and at the other groups she attended or indeed arranged, and it was her husband who provided so many of the bobbins I still use today. It was she who taught so many youngsters what a wonderful hobby it is,(including my own young son Peter) both at Watton lacemakers meetings and of course in Dereham itself. She will be so very sadly missed by all who knew her. I have not seen her since I left the area in 2001 but she has not been forgotten as she was such an inspiration.
