HAPPY NEW YEAR to all you spiders!!!! I am currently working on the lessons from Edna Sutton's book "Bruges Flower Lace" and it calls for size 60/2 linen thread. I don't have that thread and have used DMC perle coton size 12 and I feel this thread is just a tad thick. So I found a Brok size 50/2(I think) in my stash and have finished a couple of flowers as you can see on my blog: http://www.tat-man.net/blog
But I feel that this thread is a tad too thin. Can't win! So could any of you knowledgeable spiders recommend a thread that might be just right(said the baby bear) like 60/2. I do have lots of kinds of threads for lace (120-185 Egyptian cotton for honiton, Broks, Gutterman's, Madiera Tanne, etc)......but most of my threads are for tatting. Your help is much appreciated.
