Hi Everyone, When you are making a curved edge in lace, e.g. a narrow inside straight edge and there isn't a lot of room for pins or excess thread then the turn stitch CTTC is great. Make the CTTC, set the pin and when you come back to this edge again, make the next turn stich and remove the pin from the previous turn stitch and use the same pin hole. Then you can gently pull your threads into place. You can repeat this several times if necessary. It works a treat in avoiding bulk threads and gives a tidy smooth edge. The turn stitch also keeps the same colour of thread at the edge if you have one pair of threads outlining the edge in what I call a straight edge or pin after 4 as it it sometimes called.
