I also had an exchange partner (Alice) whose broken wrist meant that she would 
not be able to work her lace in time for the exchange.  We agreed to do an 
Easter exchange instead (and I'm looking forward to this.)

But I must say that by the time we agreed on the Easter exchange, I was already 
getting anxious about all of the "stuff" that had to be done in time for the 
holidays.  And certainly making lace should never be something that creates 
stress in our lives!!

So I suggest that next year, we change the deadline.  If our cards go out by 
the middle of November, we'll not only beat the Postal rush (hopefully), but 
also have one thing out of the way - early!  If a website of the lace is 
posted, that unveiling could be delayed so that the unveiling is in the height 
of the season - making it festive and fun.
