What a koinkodink that this subject should come up. My wife and I are making costumes for the high school musical coming up in March and we are putting on "Cinderella" and making a few ruffs for certain characters is just what we will be needing. We won't go into making nice lace ruffs.....cheap HS costumes and wear and tear from teens is not good. So we will make them as cheap as we can yet look good from a distance on stage. Probably will make them from crinoline or stiff cotton. No lace(unless bought manufactured) on the edges. This information couldn't have come at a better time! Thanks, Adele, so much for the calculations and other info. Will make the job of designing the costumes much easier ;)
