While studying a lace book recently (which I am reluctant to mark with highlighter!) I reached for my handy-dandy "Post-it" arrows. This reminded me that I haven't seen mention of these little helpers on this thread! (Which, BTW, I am enjoying immensely!!)
Initially, those arrows were invaluable to me in marking my place on the diagram while working the lace. These days, they're applied on top of the plastic "Docu-Pocket" which protects my diagrams. (Which means, incidentally, that the arrows don't remove bits of paper each time they're moved, and therefore last longer!!) This is important to me, because my very favorite arrows are those which are die-cut, one color, with no black line outlining the arrow. They are much easier to see through, and are easier to precisely place on the diagram. ALAS!! I haven't seen any of these gems for a long time in stores, and so I hoard my slowly diminishing supply. If anyone has spotted a ready source for these things, PLEASE let me know!!
