I gave my lecture to day at the women's club. I was amazed how well it went.
The ladies kept quiet for a whole hour, were very interested and asked a lot
of questions at the end.
The talk was this time only about bobbin lace. Some of them were in Bruges
and have seen the demos there but most of them had no idea what it was all
about.
The organizer told me later that she has never seen the group so quiet for
such a long time. I told them that I'll be willing to come again and tell
them about other type of laces. Mostly people here know what crochet is .
Then I went over to the museum to see the curator of the next exhibition.
This time it is only women artists.I decided to go this time with my lace on
the CDs. Decided that it was a good idea to show also some method of
recycling. In the past I made my 2 CDs for the CD 2000 and then added
another two when they moved on the US. But during the years a added a few
more and now I have a collection of 9 CDs. Curator was delighted. The
exhibition will be for a whole month and during Passover which hopefully
will bring a lot of visitors into town.
