Someone will certainly correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that Clover silks are marketed as "Tire" - at least in the US. They're available in a stunning array of colors, and while they are slippery, they are delightful to work with, once you adapt to the thread itself. I've used them in Milanese, with excellent results. And... it certainly is a test of your skills at tensioning when you've got those slippery threads!!
