I endorse everything Jean has said about travelling in our country.
I would like to add to what Jean said.
Here in Norfolk we now have a new bus pass [I think Jean this will apply to
you as well by now] which is for five years. It covers disabled and over
sixties people. Myself and my daughter have one each.
Both of us are under sixty. Me not for much longer.
The new pass allows us to go anywhere in the country by bus, or to use it in
another place in England.
As Jean said, just because we have the passes does not mean that we can get
anywhere quickly.
I too have mobility problems and find it difficult to get on a bus easily, and
then to walk after I have got off the bus again. So please don`t judge
England against America because we are small but lovely marked. There is no
