Either I read it wrongly (quite possible as I'm not a native speaker) or the description on p. 97 is wrong - the part to be repeated (* to **) is missing something. The numbering of the bobbins is not exactly clear either - do you count from left to right or vice versa? And which number has the weaver, if any? This needs maybe some consideration for the next edition (if at all intended for someone who never did tallies before).

Anyway: thanks a lot for this magnificent book! I learned a lot from it for all kinds of point ground lace. The satchel from chapter 5, done with paisley patterned cloth, was highly appreciated as a christmas gift to my mother (even if it came out a bit too short - at least for german tissues ;) - but I probably did faulty measurement somewhere on the way).
