Thanks, Jeri - I know I'm not alone in appreciating the information you share with us about the importance of preserving our own textile treasures. There's nothing much sadder than seeing a beautiful piece of handwork that has deteriorated through years of improper care and mistreatment, besides the ravages of time. Despite the labor-saving devices available now, it seems we're not going to see much of the kinds of textile art that people in the past found the time to make by hand. Beautiful things made by hand are virtually irreplaceable, and there is not way we can put a real price on the labors of love and investments of time they require. And, of course, we want to be able to pass down our heirlooms to the next generations, if at all possible. So thanks for passing along these resources, Jeri!
