Hi All Thanks for all the advice I knew there would be many different ones. Now I have to find the one that works for me. I started on the lace for the hood last night so will hopefully finish that today only 12" to do and it is a simple pattern I am using the pattern on page 35 of Christine Springett Torchon Lace Book. Not too many bobbins.
