Hello everyone
Lacedays are so strange these days.
In 1993 you could be assured of big turn outs for lacedays 100 plus.
I have ran my own for the last 4 years and hovered around 30 to 60
lacemakers at anytime.
Wendy is right to say if you don`t support the lacedays then yes they will
go.
As an organiser of a laceday I spend a great deal of time on the
phone/e`mail/writing letters to the suppliers, and venue where the day will
be held.
I`ve had twice where a supplier has not turned up and did`nt have the
decency to let me know they were not coming.
We all have our part to play in lacedays, so come on where are you???
We are lucky in Norfolk and Suffolk because there are quite a few lacedays
which we can attend.
