My very favourite stitch is half-stitch. I like it that a few pairs can expand to fill a void, and condense at a narrow bit. I like to work it CT, or TC, of a piece and know that the appearance will be the same. I have other favourites, depending on what I'm working on. The star ground is lovely. I could share how to do star ground, if I would find the pattern I was using. When I look up close at honeycomb I always think of tapioca pudding in a nice way...(perhaps it is the frothy appearance)
