The Border Lacemakers 2008 Laceday will be held on Saturday 1st November at The Beaufort Centre, Beaufort Road, Newport (off the B4596, Caerleon Road) from 10.00am to 3.30pm. The speaker is Mrs Judi Grant talking about the quilt collection at the American Museum, Claverton Down, Bath. Suppliers in attendance:- Crystals and Ice (beads), Jo Firth, Matthew Hester, Stuart Johnson, Lacewing Designs, RHS Engineering and Wellhead Books.
