I live just a few miles from the village of "Worstead" the place where the fabric originated, every year they have a festival and we always attend to see the weavers that set up their weaving frames in the church along with lacemakers and other crafts. The festival was started up some thirty years ago to raise funds for a new roof for the church and has carried on ever since raising money for the church. We always have a really good time with events happening all around the village which is closed to traffic for three days. As well as crafts they have vintage cars, ploughing contests,marching bands,stalls and lots more. We just never miss it.
