The beauty of Polycotton thread is that is holds its shape, and never creases!! The bad part is that it is springy and wants to do it's own thing, - not what I want it to do! The half-hitch does not always stay done up for one thing.
However, I find lace made from a good polycotton is useful, - especially for Lace to Wear, as it looks like it is brand new and just off the pillow, no matter how old it is,and how badly treated when not in use!
