The results of the survey are interesting to me. I often get the impression
that crafts have a "fashion" as well. Thirty years ago crochet was very
fashionable and everybody learnt to crochet. Then batik was in fashion and
went out again. So asking those questions show how many people were
interested and continued the various crafts. It would be interesting to
know how many people started lacemaking and quit but how to reach them??? I
was surprised at how few people did spinning as I often get the impression
that there are several people on the list that do or did weaving and
spinning. Any survey is interesting and any future surveys will be welcome
at this PC!
