Debbie, I'll answer your questions. I joined Oct. 27, 2008 (keep my enrollment posts for all my groups). The main reason I joined was to learn from experienced lace makers but my teacher was also a major influence. I found you first just by searching the web but didn't know if this list was for raw beginners .... thanks to my teacher I'm learning much from everyone here. I've just finished my second sample piece of lace .... my teacher hasn't seen it yet as my next class is Mon. (20th) and I'm looking forward to my first project, a bookmark.
